Category:Big Machine Records albumsDonald Trump holds a $2 billion loan from Beijing and the Chinese government gave him and his family $130,000 in low-interest loans, according to a US watchdog.
The Presidential Perks Commission was set up in May to investigate Trump’s foreign business entanglements. It was established in response to Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns, which would show whether any foreign entanglements have violated the constitution.
It’s hard to overstate how big Trump’s financial entanglements are with China and other countries – the findings of the report, which is released on Monday, will expose to light just how intertwined those entanglements are.
The report examined Trump’s overseas business dealings, the US government’s relationship with those companies, and any conflicts of interest those entanglements pose.
The report found that Trump has received at least $2 billion in loans from a Chinese state-owned bank and at least $130,000 in cash from the Chinese government. That money went into loans that are worth over $300 million dollars.
There are also ongoing legal negotiations with the Chinese government for an up to $100 billion investment in the Trump Organisation.
In the US, the Trump Organisation is Trump’s main business, but he has also made money through the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, and through his rental apartment building in Trump Tower in New York.
